Traditional Camp Ages 5-12
Campers are divided into groups by age. Our youngest
campers—ages 5 and 6, or Explorers—experience modified camp activities geared to show them the wonders of nature and introduce them to camp. Explorer activities are closely supervised with a staff/camper ratio of 1:10. Challengers, or campers ages 7-9, experience all of our traditional camp activities including hiking, fishing, canoeing, swimming,
archery, computer lab, arts and crafts, team and individual sports, environmental education, high ropes course and much more, with a ratio of 1:12. Our oldest campers—ages 10-12, or Trekkers—experience camp activities at the most adventurous level or they can choose one of our specialty camps, with a ratio of 1:15. From the moment campers arrive each day, counselors guide them through a balance of activities between active and quiet, sports and cultural, and group and individual. All campers have opportunities to sing songs, tell stories, meet new friends, and more.
