Afterschool Club at Westside YMCA
It’s 3:45 in the afternoon and you don’t have to worry! You know where your kids are and they couldn’t be in better hands. Participants ages 5-12 will receive program instruction in the following areas: Homework Help, Art, Drama, Music, Sports and Recreation, Technology Instruction, Health and Wellness, Environmental Education, Civic Education, and Character Development featuring “40 Developmental Assets.”
We follow the National YMCA School Age Curriculum, which includes the following content areas: arts and humanities, character development, health/wellness and fitness, homework support, literacy, science and technology, service-learning, and social competence and conflict resolution. The curriculum allows for free choice activities, small group and individual activities, project time, large group, indoor and outdoor activities, and a snack. Our programs are licensed through the State of Oklahoma Department of Human Services.
Children from Remington, Robertson and Eugene Field Elementary Schools receive transportation to the Afterschool Club.
Afterschool Club Hours:
After school to 6:00 p.m., Monday - Friday (holidays not included)
Cost: $275 per month (financial assistance available and DHS accepted)
$50 activity fee required from all participants

Before and Afterschool Care at Owasso Family YMCA
The program begins and ends at our YMCA facility for Ator, Mills, Northeast, Hodson & Smith Elementary schools and onsite afterschool care is provided for Barnes, Bailey and Stone Canyon. The before-school care is provided at the YMCA for all public elementary schools.
The YMCA contracts with Owasso Public Schools to transport your children to and from the YMCA to school.

Children attending the Hutcherson program are transported to and from school. We provide care during school holidays and teacher in-service days at the Hutcherson YMCA.
Child Development Center at W.L. Hutcherson YMCA
The W.L. Hutcherson Family YMCA Learning Development Center is a 3-Star rated facility licensed by the State of Oklahoma, NAEYC accreadited. Children are instructed by BA-Degreed staff, and our program utilizes the Creative Curriculum, which includes:

Language
Math development
Story time
