Day Camps

Thank you so much for your interest in YMCA GO Club!

The YMCA has a rich history of providing youth development programs to families throughout the Tulsa Metro Area. We assure you; we are here to meet both your Out-of-School time needs and to support Remote Learning during this challenging time.

We are developing plans to provide flexible and affordable childcare while adapting to a new learning landscape. We know you are eager to make plans for the school year, and we are working diligently with local schools and community partners to finalize our options for you. We will be providing full-day, afterschool and drop in options that ensure not only care but also educational support for your children when schools are closed for in person learning.

We have it covered at the Y, so do not stress about trying to juggle everything. Stay tuned for more information on YMCA GO Club for the 2020-21 educational calendar!

Day Camps

At the Y, we look forward to continuing to provide one of our most exciting roles in the community…Summer Day Camp! As we plan and work in conjunction with local city and state leader’s, we are preparing for our first day of Summer Day Camp at our Tandy, Owasso, and Daily Family YMCA’s to begin on June 1st. Our DHS licensed camps run weekly and are open from 7 am-6 pm.  Summer Day Camp at the Y is a chance to provide your camper with the opportunities to try new things, make friends, and to grow to their fullest potential through character development and outdoor education-focused programming in a safe environment. Summer Day Camps

Think outside, where no box is required for kids to laugh, learn, explore and grow in the outdoors, while creating memories and friendships that last a lifetime. Kids discover not just the wonders of camp, but the joy of exploring their talents and interests and the power of sharing their strengths and skills to benefit the group.

Overnight Camp

Camp Takatoka is the overnight camp of the YMCA of Greater Tulsa. Located just 45 minutes from Tulsa on Fort Gibson Lake. There are programs for campers ages 7 to 17 years old, filled to the brim with activity and programming specifically designed for them.

Kid's Day Out Camps

During the school year when school is out the Y is in!  Fun and friends awaits at the Y for various 1 day camps where campers explore all that traditional day camp has to provides.

Winter Break Camps

Vacation time at the Y is fun! Kids will have a place to belong and build friendships.

Spring Break Camps

Spring Break is a great time to experience YMCA Camp!  Participate traditional camp activities that create fun lifelong friendships and belonging in a technology free environment.

The safety and health of our YMCA of Greater Tulsa extended family is always our highest priority. The pandemic has caused us to have to make many difficult decisions for our organization. Through ongoing conversations with local and national health and thought partners we have elected to temporarily close Camp Takatoka for summer 2020. Please follow us on Facebook as well as online on this page for other summer opportunities and future Tak updates.

If you have already paid for camp- you may request a credit towards any YMCA of Greater Tulsa program credit or a refund.

For more information or refunds, please contact Summer Knox, Sr. Director of Camping Services at [email protected].
