Thunder Youth Basketball
The Thunder Youth Basketball League is the standard YMCA League with an emphasis on the development and understanding of the game of basketball. Officials will be more lenient and assist in helping the child learn. The season consists of eight games. The Thunder Youth Basketball League is open to children ages 3-12. For ages 7 & up, the league is gender specific.

- October 2 Registration Opens
- Week of November 13 Parent/Coach Meetings
- November 17 Games Schedules Posted on Y GAMETIME
- Week of November 27 First Week of Practices Begin
- December 9 First Game Saturday
- February 3 Last Game Saturday
NEW THUNDER JERSEY AVAILABLE ONLINE ONLY
All players will be required to have the official YMCA Thunder Basketball League jersey. ONLINE JERSEY STORE Jerseys cost $25 + shipping. Allow 2-3 weeks to receive uniforms.
LOCATIONS & PRACTICE
Practices will be held at your home YMCA branch, date and time will be determined by the volunteer coaches. Games may rotate between all YMCA of Greater Tulsa locations depending on league size.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
It is the policy of the YMCA of Greater Tulsa that no person be denied membership or program participation due to the inability to pay. Funds for financial assistance are provided through the YMCA’s Annual Support Campaign. APPLY FOR SCHOLARSHIP
