We will have 2 leagues: beginner and intermediate. If we could add the following info on the registration page, that would be helpful for teams to reference when choosing which league will be best for them.
1. Beginner Level
Overview:
- Who It’s For The beginner level is ideal for those who are new to volleyball or have limited experience with the sport. This level focuses on building fundamental skills, understanding basic rules, and developing confidence on the court.
- Key Skills: At the beginner level, players work on basic skills such as serving, passing, setting, and hitting. The emphasis is on learning proper techniques and gaining familiarity with the flow of the game.
Signs You’re a Beginner:
- You’re still learning the basic rules of volleyball.
- You’re working on consistently serving the ball over the net.
- You may struggle with ball control and positioning on the court.
- You’re building confidence in making contact with the ball during play.
2. Intermediate Level
Overview:
- Who It’s For: The intermediate level is suited for players who have a solid grasp of the basic skills and are ready to take their game to the next level. This level involves more complex strategies, teamwork, and positional play.
- Key Skills: Intermediate players work on refining their skills, improving consistency, and developing a deeper understanding of the game. They focus on advanced techniques such as jump serves, quick sets, and effective blocking.
Signs You’re an Intermediate Player:
- You have a good understanding of volleyball rules and positions.
- You can consistently serve the ball over the net and place it in specific areas.
- You’re comfortable with basic ball control and can execute passes, sets, and hits with reasonable accuracy.
- You’re starting to work on more advanced techniques and strategies, such as communication and court coverage.
